A ridiculously low fine for 6 yrs of crime and only "sentenced to probation for dumping millions of gallons of wastewater into area streams and mine shafts."    Can you imagine where that has migrated to already?  How many people, animals and plant life have been poisoned from these criminal acts?  Toxic chemicals and waste don't "wash clean".  Gas drilling is not the course NY needs to develop in our economy.  No state has the structure to prevent these catastrophes.  The only way to stop chemical contamination is to stop the industry that produces such waste.  Its that simple - and that hard.
