From Josh and Sandra: Urgent

An Urgent Letter from Josh Fox and Sandra Steingraber to the 19 Million People of New York State

R-Cause is working on carpools from the Rochester area and several cars are leaving on Aug 27 at 6:30 a.m. from Bushnell Basin Park & Ride.  We will return by early evening that same day.  Anyone on the west side of Rochester can contact me for ride information also.

Now is the time to show your resolve and support to save our state from industrialized fracking operations!

Come to Albany on August 27

WHEN:   Monday August 27th, 11 AM.
WHERE:  March begins at Albany Riverfront Park, Albany, New York. Park is located across from the Hudson River Way Pedestrian Bridge, at the corner of Broadway & Pine Street.

Bill McKibben and Josh Fox, director of “Gasland,” will be there, along with grassroots leaders of the anti-fracking movement in New York State. We’ll deliver the Pledges to Gov. Cuomo and take bold action to show him the strength of our movement.

Can't Attend in Person?  You can still make an impact!
If you can't attend you can help support the event.  Our friends at Catskill Mountainkeeper have set up a special page where you can donate towards the action - can you make a donation to support Don’t Frack New York?  Click here to donate to Don’t Frack New York:

Second: We need to make sure our communities know what’s happening in Albany. One of the best ways to get the word out locally is by sending a letter to the editor of your local paper. This is one of the most-read sections of the paper, and we’ve made letters easy to write and send - just click here for suggestions on what to write and how to contact your paper:
