Calling Gov Cuomo Make the Ban Solid

Over the past few weeks, several people have come up to me and said how glad they were that "NY banned fracking."   The appreciation for activism work is warming, and then I quickly remind them this is not over for NY and likely won't be in the near future!  There is so much more work to do.

Thanks to the diligent and constant work of many watchful research groups like Walter Hang and Toxics Targeting, it is very clear that every nuance of high volume hydraulic fracturing must be plainly and clearly addressed by the DEC and Gov Cuomo.
"We must also require Governor Cuomo to issue a Supplemental Findings Statement to prohibit all types of High-Volume Hydraulic Fracturing before it is too late."
Call to Action  Use the Quick Action Guide at Toxics Targeting and make a call to Gov Cuomo's office at 518 474 8390.
Demand that the Governor fulfill the promise in the Findings Statement that: DEC " will not establish a high-volume hydraulic fracturing permitting program; that no individual or site-specific permit applications for wells using high-volume hydraulic fracturing will be processed; and that high-volume hydraulic fracturing will be prohibited in New York State."
